It is important that the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue goes on, Serbia’s minister responsible for EU integration Jadranka Joksimovic said on Tuesday, adding that the Brussels agreement was a framework for ensuring a better life of the Serb community in Kosovo-Metohija.

Ahead of the next meeting of the Brussels dialogue on Wednesday, Joksimovic said that Belgrade and Pristina had to adhere to the deal, underscoring that the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities had been the main reason for entering the negotiation process in the first place.

“We hope that the EU would not let the agreement be revised,” Joksimovic told reporters at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, adding that Belgrade had not recognized Kosovo’s independence, but was negotiating with Pristina in an effort to secure a better life for Serbs residing in the province.
