The third international business expo, titled “Expo-Russia Serbia 2016”, and the Belgrade Business Forum opened at the Metropol Palace Hotel on Wednesday to showcase over 100 Russian companies.

The expo is aimed at presenting a large number of Russian companies from several fields of economy, notably small and medium-sized enterprises from various regions of Russia.

The expo was opened by Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin, Vice-President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Miroslav Miletic, President of the Zarubezh Expo Organizing Committee David Vartanov and representatives of the Russian State Duma Committee on Industry.

Ambassador Chepurin said that the volume of trade had increased, with Russia becoming one of Serbia’s three most significant trading partners.
