Photos of modern Russia will be exhibited till August 10th at the Kalemegdan promenade (the Sava quay) in Belgrade

The exhibition of modern Russian photography titled “Russia – new perspectives” by 14 Russian authors will be exhibited till August 10th at the Kalemegdan promenade (the Sava quay). This is the third time in sequence that a summer exhibition of modern Russian photography is organized on the occasion of celebrating the Day of Russia, under the patronage of NIS, Gazprom Neft and Embassy of the Russian Federation in Serbia.

The photos of modern Russia represent the dynamics also at one Slavic land. Boards with photos at the Kalemegdan promenade present the everyday life of Russia, from far snow regions of Siberia, to very picturesque scenes of Moscow or Sankt Petersburg.

Among the authors is also Dmitry Zverev, the winning author of the „Silver camera“ contest, who has immortalized the contrasts of this big city, as well as the solitude of a man, cramped between giant skyscrapers.

Belgrade audience will have the opportunity to see, among others, the photos of Igor Stomakhin, the journalist of the Russian Reporter, Vitaly Raskalov, Konstantin Kokoshkin, Anna Palts, Michael Mordasov and Alena Nikiforova, who presented the scenes from the serial “Moscow metro”.
