An exhibition titled “Nikola Tesla – Man of the Future”, organized by the Belgrade-based Nikola Tesla Museum, opened at the Cankarjev Dom Cultural and Congress Centre in Ljubljana on Monday evening, the museum said in a release.

The exhibition is staged to mark 160 years since Tesla’s birth, under the auspices of the president of the Republic of Slovenia.

This is a first event in Tesla’s honor with which the Nikola Tesla Museum is celebrating 160 years since the birth of the great scientist.

The opening ceremony brought together Director General of the Cankarjev Dom Ursula Cetinski and Branimir Jovanovic, the author of the exhibition and director of the Nikola Tesla Museum, and the exhibition was declared open by Slovenian President Borut Pahor.

The exhibition illustrates Tesla’s life path through numerous documents, photographs and trial models, various fields of his research, but also his visionary thinking about the future and humankind’s sustainable development.
