The 37th International Festival of monodrama and pantomime will take place from the 5th till the 8th of July at Pinocchio Theatre in Zemun. Guests from the United States, Bulgaria, Macedonia, England, Portugal, and Serbia will present themselves to the audience, while the special guests are coming from Poland.
The writer Milovan Vitezović will open the Festival and the Serbian actor Nebojša Dugalić will perform the monodrama “Dmitri Karamazov’s confessions”, by F. M. Dostoyevsky. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the exhibition of Ivan Stikić’s paintings.
The pantomimist Bill Bowers from the US and the actress Silvia Bojidarova from Bulgaria will also perform on the first day of the Festival. The monodrama “Postojanje” (Existance) of the New Belgrade scene “Carina” will be played on the first evening.
During the Festival informal meetings and gatherings with guests will be organized.
Pantomime creative workshops, chess simultaneous exhibition with Alisa Marić, Mini festival of monodrama in Niš and the open exhibition “Poljski pozorišni plakat” (Polish theater poster) at Gardoš Tower will also be held during the Festival.
