Šumadija Fest, one of the most visited manifestations in Central Serbia that unites music, art and sport, takes place on August 24th and 25th at the plateau in front of “Kragujevac Fair”. During two days of the Festival, numerous local bands and performers will perform on two stages, while different sport manifestations will take place at the plateau.
The first day of the Festival is reserved for the sounds of Irish music performed by Orthodox Celts, a popular Serbian band, followed by Del Arno Bend with the sounds of reggae music. Zabranjeno pušenje, one of the most popular rock bands in the exYU with 30 years long music carrier, will be performing on the first day of the Festival.
Club music in the unique interpretation of the band Makao should not be missed on the second day of the Festival, on August 25th. Besides them, the stages will host Dance 4 Life Crew and numerous DJs. In the evening the audience will be partying at the TDI Radio party.
Besides music program, the Festival aims to promote culture and education of young people through lectures, panels and workshops, where participants can exchange experiences on actual topics from these fields.
The Festival was launched last year with the idea to promote an event in the hearth of Šumadija that will take place each year and improve the social life of young people and gather large number of local and foreign tourists by offering them rich music and side programs.
