The 5th International Festival of Ecology and Tourist Film Silver lake Tourfilm Festival – SILAFEST 2013 takes place on the Danube bank, in the town of Veliko Gradište, from September 1st till September 7th.
The Festival features the competitive part of the program which is expected to have about sixty films in the official selection, and numerous side-program manifestations on ecology and tourism.
The film directors from the country and abroad, producers, journalists, directors of sister festivals from all around the world, tourist workers, and all festivalgoers, will all have the opportunity to enjoy “Pasuljijada” – a competition in cooking “gradištanac” beans, a competition in cooking fish broth, fishhook and float fishing competition, slapstick fishing with the Danube fishermen…
Also there are boat outings organized on the Danube, but also a round table on ecology and regional tourist development, as well as an educational seminar “Contemporary World Trends in Tourist Film Production”, designed for tourist workers from Serbia.
SILAFEST was founded in 2008, and it is organized by the Tourist organization of Veliko Gradište.
