Sounds of Cuba once again in Belgrade at the long expected concert of the legendary „Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club“ that is taking place on November 24th starting at 20.00 in the Great Hall of Sava Center, organized by the company Long Play.
Unique spirit of Havana and luring rythms of son montunos, danzón, cha cha cha, boleros and Cuban Jazz will gather admirers of this legendary orchestra of Cuban veteran-musicians led by the trumpeter Guajiro Mirabal (age 79), lutist Barbarito Torres (age 56) and trombonist Jesus Aguaje Ramos (age 61).
These live legends and symbols of Cuban music in the world are joined by the amasing Omara Portuondo.
Today this widely known band has 13 members and it gained world fame with the album “Buena Vista Social Club” from 1997 and the documentary film with the same name by the famous director Wim Wenders from 1999 and became a world phenomenon.
Tickets for the concert in Belgrade can be purchased at prices of 1,800, 2,100, 2,500 and 3,000 RSD and can be found at the box office at the Sava Centre and Eventim ticket network.
