Kustendorf 2014

International Film and Music Festival Kustendorf will take place from 18th to 23nd January in Drvengrad in Mokra Gora, Serbia. As in previous years, the Festival is dedicated to future filmmakers and already acclaimed authors. The special guests of the seven Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival are Argentinian actress Bérénice Bejo, Iranian director Asghar Farhadi, while French singer Zaz will be perform in the music program.

Films by 15 authors from Israel, Serbia, United States, Singapore, France, Poland, Mexico, South Korea, China, Slovakia and Iran will participate in the competition program.

The seventh “Kustendorf” will dedicate a special program to “American new wave”, The films “They Shoot Horses do not you?” by Sidney Pollack, “Blue Soldier” by Ralph Nelson’s “Cabaret” by Bob Fosse and “Mean Streets” by Martin Scorsese will be screened under the program.

A jury headed by Bérénice Bejo will award the winners of the achievements in the competition selection. Jurors are Guillermo Arriaga, Srdjan Koljević, while the award “Vilko Filac” assign Janusz Kaminski and Jan Malirž.

In the music program of the festival will perform Emir Kusturica and the No Smoking Orchestra, Riblja čorba, Mostar Sevdah Reunion and Mahala Rai Banda, and it will be closed by the concert of the French singer Zaz.
