The goal of the festival is to promote the profession and education of future chefs, as well to introduce new trends and modern techniques, but also to present the region, culinary traditions, and the achievements of regions and cities from which they come.
The festival will bring together young chefs from Serbia and the region (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Slovenia, Greece, Turkey, Russia). The competition will be held in six competition boxes – professional kitchens.
The festival will also have a humanitarian character. The 1000 meals will be distributed to a vulnerable and neglected group of children of Kragujevac.
Besides the competition, the festival has a great business impact on the development of gastronomy, tourism and food industry in Serbia and the region.
