Jadranka Jovanović Concert

Jadranka Jovanović, Champion of the Serbian National Theatre Opera, will be holding a concert on July 21st accompanied by the “Stanislav Binicki”, Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defense. The special guest of this concert will be the famous singer Leo Martin. The concert is a part of the rich program of the “Bojčinsko leto” (Bojčin Summer) Festival.

Jadranka Jovanović is born in Belgrade where she finished the Faculty of Music – she graduated – B.A. in theory of music and solo singing, and M.A. in solo singing. She debuted as Rosina in Rossini`s “Il Barbiere di Seviglia” at the National Theatre in Belgrade, where she interpreted all main mezzo-soprano roles.

Jadranka performed at the “Teatro alla Scala” in Milan as well as at numerous Opera Houses around the world.

The critic of the “Messaggero Veneto” from Trieste wrote that this great diva “lacks nothing to be a primadona”.

The “Bojčinsko leto” (Bojčin summer) Festival is opened on the Summer stage in Bojčinska Forest. The Festival will run until September 23rd and will have 43 programs, on Saturdays and Sundays. Program will include all kinds of musical performances, from classical to pop, rock, ethnic music, theater plays by various Belgrade theaters and theaters from around Serbia.
