Futog Cabbage Festival 2013

Traditionally every October the urban settlement of Futog near Novi Sad hosts a manifestation in honor of Futog’s brand – “Futog cabbage”, so this Saturday, October 26th, the Futog Cabbage Festival welcomes numerous visitors.
Long time ago Futob became famous for its specific brand and became known as the “cabbage capital” in Serbia.
The manifestation Futog Cabbage Festival is being organized with the aim to promote cabbage from Futog area and the producers, but also to underline the importance of keeping traditional arts and crafts alive.
Like in previous years, this year’s Cabbage Festival includes a competition in preparing cabbage dishes, as well as the contest for the heaviest cabbage, followed by interesting side program.
