The gastronomic and cultural manifestation “Fish Fest” will take place from June 29th to July 1st on the plateau near the Nebojša Tower in Belgrade, as one of the central manifestations of the International Danube Day in Serbia.
This festival was created in order to remind visitors of the importance of the Sava and the Danube. The central event will be the competition in preparing fish soup.
Guests from Croatia – representatives of the Chefs Association of Mediterranean and European regions from Split will also present their skills, as well as local restaurants and famous wineries from around Serbia.
Visitors will also be able to try their luck in fishing competition, while numerous writers, actors, singers and all lovers of river and fish specialties will participate in the side program.
Music program will be organized every evening. Local bands Gama, Đura i mornari, Apsolutno romantično will perform on Friday, June 29th, on Saturday – Nick Drag, So sabi, Witch one, Đura i mornari and Garavi sokak, while the bands O đila, Gama, So sabi and Denis i Obule will close the festival.
The festival is organized by the Association “Danube in the heart” and Chefs Association of Mediterranean and European regions from Belgrade.
