FEST 2014

The 42nd International Film Festival – FEST is taking place from February 28th till March 9th at the Sava Center and other venues under the slogan “It’s not all black and white.”.

FEST will be officially opened by Serbian film “The Cannon Was Hot” by Boban Skerlić and closed by the film “The blue is the hottest color” by Abdelatif Keşiş.

The audience will be able to see the premiere of 75 films.

The films by the festivals winners, Oscar winners and greatest authors will be displayed in the main program. A cross-section of the American repertory film will be include in the part of program called “Hollywood”.

The films from countries outside of the European Union will be screened in the only competition program “Europe out of Europe”, while the films created within the EU and co-productions created within the EU will be shown within the program “Europe”.

The program “In Focus” is dedicated to Scandinavian and Russian cinema, and within a new program called “Fest Party” will be screened the film “Duran Duran” by David Lynch.
