Main Stage
Bloc Party
British indie rock heavyweights Bloc Party will be playing EXIT and Serbia for the first time, with band members Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong ready to reverberate their new sound around the fortress walls. In 2012 the band released their long awaited comeback album dubbed ‘Four’ following the bands three year hiatus. Charismatic Kele Okereke stands out as one of the heroes of alternative music culture, as a person whose personal activism and outspoken approach has won hearts globally. After past performances from Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party will be closing the magic circle on the Main stage, being the only big indie band that hasn’t played at EXIT festival yet.

Dubioza Kolektiv
To the uninitiated, Dubioza Kolektiv are a band from Bosnia known for their fresh take on hip hop, mixed with reggae, dub, rock and Bosnian folklore; others more familiar with the name know them as a killer live band, and notorious leaders in the fight for social change in their home country. Now, after eight years and five albums under their belts, (their sixth, “Wild Wild East”, due for international release in September of 2011), they can claim a list of accomplishments that would make any musicians proud: a diehard fan base (“5 do 12” boasts over 100,000 downloads and counting). Outside of the Balkans, they’ve been nominated for “Independent Album of the Year 2011”, have been recognized by the BBC and Time Magazine as a legitimate voice of Bosnia.
Orthodox Celts
Orthodox Celts are a well-known Serbian band that combines Irish traditional music with rock music elements, creating music which is widely accepted with the domestic audience.
