EXIT 2013, Day 3

The Prodigy, DJ Fresh Live, Pan Put, Džef Mils and Ana Popović are headliners of the third day of Exit festival 2013! They will perform on Thursday July 12th at Petrovaradin Fortress with many other bands.

Having played and ruled Main stage at EXIT twice already, The Prodigy return to deliver one of the most impressive and energy-packed shows on the planet. Working on the new album has not taken any energy out of their signature live shows combining the band’s performance with cutting edge international acts chosen by the band themselves. Warriors Dance represents surge of exciting vibes ranging from The Prodigy’s iconic anthems to seismic sub-low dubstep, live drum&bass and mighty guitar riffs all combining into one of a kind festival experience.

DJ Fresh is one of the biggest current Drum’n’Bass and Dubstep sensations, introducing himself for the first time to the EXIT 2013 audience in the best possible manner – performing live!

His dynamism and energy will be completed with with a whole live band set, making his hits even more melodic and full-sounding. With hits such as “Hot Right Now“, “Louder“ and “Gold Dust“, DJ Fresh has gained a variety of worldwide audiences, and with more than 50 million Youtube views, these hits clearly promise to brighten up the fortress in July, when the magic dust arises around his performance, giving the audience reason to be even louder!

Pan-Pot

Pan-Pot are a duo formed by Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix in 2005, and are mostly recognized for their deep bass lines, melodic and dramatic builds and pitch variations. Both students at SAE, they merged with Anja Schneider and her imprint mobilee, releasing their debut album. The groundbreaking moment of the duo’s career span came in 2007 with the release of Pan-O-Rama, with charting single “Charly”, and more recently with singles “Confronted” and “Captain My Captain”. Their vision, passion, and love of music continues to drive Pan-Pot — and the extended mobilee team —in all that they continue to do, and all that will come.

Jeff Mills

Jeff Mills, the godfather of Detroit techno, founder of legendary Underground Resistance and barer of French title Knight of Arts will be demonstrating his flawless mixing technique in front of 25,000 passengers aboard his techno time machine. Being one of the most productive techno producers, Millsmade more than 20 albums and 100 EPs and has taken techno into new dimensions, combining it with philharmonic orchestras and using it as a soundtrack for Fritz Lang’s silent movie “Metropolis”. He is one of the first DJ’s to use three turntable mixing technique, which he has perfected beyond reason, often playing more than 70 records during one hour. His biggest achievement though isconstant evolution: “It’s not really my nature to look back. Somewhere along my career, I became convinced that there is more value in thinking forward than reminiscing about the past. In this way, I don’t expect it to ever truly end. Ever.”

Ana Popović

Ana Popovic or “the female Jimi Hendrix“ is considered as one of the best blues players in the world. She released her first solo album “Hush“ in the heart of blues and immediately became recognized as the best European blues playes. Ana was a part of the European Hendrix Tribute tour with Walter Trout and received numerous awards for her work. She was the only non-American musician ever nomination for Best New Artist Debut at the W.C. Handy Awards, the blues equivalent of the Oscars. Possibly the greatest recognition came from the king of soul music, Solomon Burke who specifically requested Ana to join him on stage at one of his concerts and to support him for the rest of his tour. Ana is also honoured by the world’s leading guitar makers Fender as one of their exclusive promoters.
