The 10th traditional exhibition “Photography Days in Serbia” will be held from June 28th to July 1st at the House of Culture in Čačak. This manifestation will host several exhibitions, lectures, promotions and video productions in different spheres of photography.
This year’s most active authors will present their works, also news photos published last year will be exhibited. The organizers of this manifestation are Cultural center of Čačak, Photo-cinema club Čačak and the Photography Association of Serbia.
The tribune on topic “Presentation of photography exhibitions in Europe” with the lecture of the professor Branimir Karanović from the Faculty of Applied Arts will be held on Thursday June 28th in the Art Salone of the House of Culture.
After it the exhibition of the catalogue and T-shirts titled “Ten Years of the ‘Days’” by Vojislav Pešterc will be opened, while the opening of the photography exhibition of young authors of Photo-cinema club “Čačak” is reserved for the end of that evening.
The Republic Photography Exhibition, the exhibition of 10 most successful authors in 2011, PRESS PHOTO SERBIA, the annual competition of journalist photography and the exhibition “On the trace of Light” will be opened on Friday, June 29th. After the opening ceremony and the rich cultural and artistic program the exhibition of most successful authors of 2011 – Zoran Milutinović and Italians Riccardo Busi and Lella Berreta will be opened
Dragoljub Zamurović i Darko Stanimirović will hold lectures on Saturday, June 30th. Milovan Ulićević will hold a lecture on the topic “Photographic mind pentagraf”, followed by the exhibition of Branimir Karanović and than the exhibition of Legat Risim – “Monochrome world”. By the end of the evening the exhibitions of the Photography Association of Italy and Riccardo Busi, who will also hold a lecture, will be opened.
The representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, the Italian Embassy and the town of Čačak will attend the exhibition. On the last day, on Sunday June 30th, the “Foto berza” (Foto Stock Market) will be organized in the hall of the House of Culture where exhibitors will present photo and video equipment.
