Djordje Balašević concert

One of the biggest Balkan singer and songwriter of all time, Djordje Balaševic, will hold a concert on May 24th at Kalemegdan. After nearly four decades of his career during which he has held nearly 150 concerts in Sava Center, this will be the first major open-air concert in Belgrade.
Balašević announce the concert by slogan “A smile returned to Belgrade,” and at the same time it will be the first show of the Panaonaska mornarica (Pannonian navy) in the Serbian capital. Panonska mornarica is a Balašević’s band whose members are dressed in elegant white sailor suits. After a long time, the popular “Pannonian Sailor” will replace a long tradition of sold-out concerts in Sava Center with another space – an open plateau below the wall of the Belgrade fortress, near the Danube River.
