Contemporary Russian painting in Zrenjanin

The exhibition “Contemporary Russian Painters from the town of Obninsk” in the Zrenjanin National Museum will present around 50 works by 8 painters who have found their creative refuge in this town 70 kilometers from the city of Moscow.

The opening of the exhibition is announced for Friday, August 3rd at 19.00, and the exhibition will be opened till August 13th.

Artists like Aleksandr Pavlovich Shubin and Denisova Tatiana Vasilevna have had numerous solo exhibitions over decades, but on this occasion they will be presenting their works at this group exhibition.

The uniqueness of Galicin Sergei Aleksandrovich and Denisova Yelena Vladimirovna is their work on frescoes in Orthodox churches and temples.

Among others, works of Denisov Vladimir Sergeyevich, the author of Alexander Pushkin Monument in the National Park in Belkin, and Galicina Anastasia Aleksandrovna, the laureate of the Afanasi Kulikov Award, will also be exhibited.
