Hot summer nights at Belgrade’s Ušće, rock ‘n’ roll and beer… Belgrade Beer Fest is celebrating its first anniversary and during its “birthday” that will last for 6 days, from August 14th till August 19th, we can expect record number of visitors.
According to the British “The Independent” one of the top 20 world events not to be missed, Belgrade Beer Fest has become the biggest Beer Festival in Southeastern Europe.
On the occasion of this jubilee, Beer Fest has prepared a little present for loyal fans – one additional, sixth, day of the Festival. During the Fest visitors will have opportunity to see some of the biggest names of the local music scene, as well as from the region – Vampiri, Obojeni program, Pekinška patka, Ritam nereda, Plavi orkestar, Crvena jabuka, LoveHunters…
The first day is reserved for “newcomers”, bands performing for the first time at Belgrade Beer Fest. During next three days the winners of the Beer Fest’s competition for young bands will have the unique opportunity to prove themselves in front of the audience.
This significant festival destination of the nation’s capital exceeds numerous summer manifestations and over time, since the first Beer Fest in 2003, it has had over a half a million of visitors each year. The key of success are rich music program based on rock ‘n’ roll sound, wide range of domestic and foreign beer brands, and free entrance.
Each year Beer Fest is followed by rich side program, as well as social campaigns emphasizing the environmental protection including the workshops on recycling.
