58. Belgrade Book Fair

From 20 st till 27 th of October, the Belgrade Book Fair is being held for the 58th time in the Belgrade Fair. This year’s guest of honor is Poland. Famous Polish writer, Olga Tokarczuk, will address in the name of the guest of honor at the Belgrade Book Fair.

Like previous years, exhibiting concept includes the contemporary world and domestic publishing production, presentation of writers, books promotions and other related programs. About 500 exhibitors, of which about 60 abroad, will feature at the Book Fair. More than 30 publishers and cultural institutions from Kosovo and Metohija, will present their books for the very first time at the Book fair.

The publisher of the year, The publishing venture and for The best children’s book awards will be given this year, as usual. In addition to the traditional publishing awards, the Book Fair the “Dositej Obradović” award is being given to the foreign publisher continuously contributing to the publication and promotion of Serbian literature.

On the last day of the fair, “open book” will be handed over to the representative of China that will be the guest of honor at the 58th International Belgrade Book Fair 2014.

As every year, The school day  and The family day will be organized.

The price for a single ticket is 250 RSD, and for a group ticket it costs 150 RSD.

Opening hours are from 10AM to 9PM.
