Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, the current world number one in men’s tennis, is through to his sixth Australian Open final.

He on Thursday defeated Roger Federer of Switzerland 6-1, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.

Djokovic won after two and a half hours of intense tennis and now has a 23-22 head-to-head record against Federer.

On Sunday, Djokovic will have the opportunity to win his sixth career title at the Melbourne Grand Slam tournament against the winner of the match between Milos Raonic of Canada and Andy Murray of Great Britain.
