This April, Serbia4Youth will take you to discover the natural treasures of the Resava, a unique blend of untouched nature, history and lots of fun.
Welcome to one of the most beatiful parts of Serbia!

Itinerary:

8h – Departure from the parking lot of Sava Centar in Belgrade.

10:30h – Arrival in Despotovac, the city of despot Stefan Lazarević, which is today the center of the Upper Resava region. This whole area is ideal for travellers who are looking to take a break from the city noise and enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes. Manasija Monastery tour – The Manasija monastery is one of the most significant monuments of the Serbian medieval culture. It is an endowment of despot Stefan Lazarević and it was built between the years of 1407 and 1418.

12h – The Miniature Park is a unique attraction, where you’ll find faithful miniature replicas of Serbian medieval monasteries in the scale of 1:17.

Despotovac

13h – The Resava cave, one of the most beautiful natural treasures of Serbia, is 4.5 km long. However, only 2,830 meters of the cave have been researched, and visitors can go as much as 800 meters deep into it. Resava is one of the oldest caves in the country (around 80 million years old). The temperature in it is constantly around 7°C, while the air humidity varies from 80 to 100%. The interior of the cave has numerous and varied halls, canals, galleries, columns, stalactites, stalagmites, draperies and petrified waterfalls. Because of its wealth and varied colors, the Resava Cave was awarded the epithet  “beauty from Resava”.

14:30h – In Lisine, the 25-meter high Veliko vrelo waterfall, Serbia’s most visited waterfall, was long considered the highest waterfall in the country, until they discovered the waterfalls on Stara Planina and Kopaonik.

17h – The Krupaj springs are one of the natural rarities and features of this region. With its unique beauty, these springs form a lake on its surface and irresistibly lure to the realm of forests, water and fresh mountain air. The healing thermal spring water mixed with the cold spring water from the Krupaj springs, complete the picture of this mythical landscape. Close by is a strong thermal spring with water temperature of 26.50C, and is protected as a natural monument of national importance. Researches of this spring have so far reached a depth of 123 meters.

19hZdrelo Spa – a unique wellness center in Serbia that works all year long. It is a water park that offers day and night bathing in warm and thermal waters with temperature from 30 to 40 degrees. The complex has 6 pools with both warm and cold water (2 indoor and 4 outdoor).

Not Included: Serbia4Youth membership card 400 rsd, entrance to Zdrelo Spa 500 rsd and individual costs of members.
The deadline for reservations is 5 days before the departure. The package is done with a minimum of 20 travelers. In the case of insufficient number of travelers, the organization may cancel the trip up to 3 days before the departure. In this program, the general traveling conditions from the agency Robinson (license OTP 007/2010) are valid.
