The dinar remained steady against the euro on Monday, making the official medium exchange rate RSD 122.7555, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said in a statement.

The central bank sold EUR 15 million on the interbank foreign exchange market on Friday, taking the total to EUR 580 million sold and EUR 10 million purchased since the beginning of the year to curb daily exchange rate fluctuations.

The national currency rose by 0.6 percent against the eurozone currency compared to a month ago, dropping by 2.2 percent compared to a year ago.

The dinar-to-dollar indicative exchange rate rose by 0.2 percent to RSD 107.8221.

The dinar rose by 2.4 percent against the US currency compared to a month ago and by 3.3 percent compared to a year ago.
