The dinar dropped by 0.1 percent against the euro on Monday, making the official medium exchange rate RSD 122.8566, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said in a statement.

The national currency dropped by 0.9 percent against the eurozone currency compared to a month ago and by 0.2 percent compared to a year ago.

The dinar-to-dollar indicative exchange rate dropped by 0.2 percent to RSD 113.5249.

The dinar dropped by 2.2 percent against the US currency compared to a month ago and by 4.7 percent compared to a year ago.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBS has sold EUR 120 million on the interbank foreign exchange market to curb excessive fluctuations of the daily exchange rate.
