Serbia’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said Sunday that the Serbian government had achieved historically important results in 2015.

“I wish it not to be forgotten that the Serbian government achieved several historical important results this year,” Dacic said, stressing that the most important had been the rejection of the Resolution on Srebrenica, which would have lasting, positive consequences for the Serbian people.

Dacic said for Belgrade-based RTV Pink that the vote not to admit Kosovo to UNESCO was also a “capital victory.” Dacic also pointed to the holding of the just finished 22nd OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade, the opening of EU accession negotiations, and successful visits and talks that Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, he and other statesman had had with officials of the world’s greatest powers.
