Dacic said that the Framework Document, by which Serbia had formally become a participant in the PfP program, was signed by the then president Boris Tadic in Brussels, on December 14, 2006.
“After that, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic handed over the Presentation Document, which identifies areas of cooperation with NATO, at NATO headquarters on September 5, 2007. Now, let me remind you, at that time, the prime minister was Vojislav Kostunica.
“Everything that has been done in cooperation with NATO to date is provided for in these documents, including the IPAP as a form of cooperation on a higher level. Not a single act of the Government of Serbia provided for participation in the Membership Action Plan, which is something that NATO has respect for,” Dacic said in a written statement to the media.
