Serbian companies have the potential and opportunities are opening for them to start working for CERN, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) Marko Cadez said Thursday, adding that the PKS would play an active role in encouraging Serbian companies to work for the European organization for nuclear research.

Cadez said that a team would be set up within the PKS by the end of April that would be in charge of helping small firms to prepare for working with CERN.

“I expect that we will be able to bring people from CERN to Serbia and talk about everything here probably as early as in June. We cannot expect our companies to get jobs and start doing work there over night, but we need to make that first step,” Cadez told Tanjug after a meeting with representatives of these companies and the Vinca Institute of nuclear Sciences.
