A three-member delegation of of the Bundeswehr Joint Medical Service, led by Colonel Dr. Christoph Rubbert, deputy chief medical officer at the Bundeswehr Central Hospital in Koblenz, has visited the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade.
The meeting, chaired by Col. Dr. Dragan Dincic, deputy head at the VMA, discussed continuation of good international cooperation in the military health care field.
The guests were briefed about levels and types of education at the VMA and the University of Defense VMA Faculty of Medicine, and about the work of the VMA National Center for Poison Control.
The meeting touched on medical staff training in the form of study visits.
The delegations also discussed opportunities for exchange of experts from different medicine branches.
The German delegation is on a multi-day visit to the Serbian Ministry of Defense Military Health Care Department, the VMA said in a release.
