The 75th anniversary of the founding of the RTS Symphony Orchestra, one of the most significant music institutions in the country, is being celebrated with a concert in the Great Hall of Sava Centar on October 3rd, at 20.00 hours.
On this occasion more than 100 members of the RTS Symphony Orchestra led by maestro Bojan Suđić will perform in front of the audience in Sava Center with the premiere of the Seventh Symphony, better known as the Leningrad Symphony, by Dmitri Dmitrievich Shostakovich, one of the most significant Russian composers of the 20th century.
Since the founding of the Orchestra and the first concert at Kolarac in 1937, the RTS Symphony Orchestra has had some significant cooperation with numerous world renowned conductors and soloist musicians, and it can also boast with numerous significant world concert tours.
