Landmark architecture, spacious contemporary rooms and sweeping city views define an elegant stay in the very heart of Niš.
A Landmark Stay Above Niš
Rising above King Milan Square in the centre of Niš, Hotel Ambasador occupies one of the city’s most recognisable buildings. First opened in 1968, the hotel overlooks the Monument to the Liberators of Niš, while the Nišava River and the walls of Niš Fortress lie just beyond the square. Its location places guests within easy walking distance of the pedestrian centre, Kazandžijsko Sokače and many of the city’s principal cultural and historical sights.
Behind its familiar façade, the hotel offers 69 contemporary rooms and suites, including two presidential suites. Generous floor plans, floor-to-ceiling windows and views across the historic centre create an unusually open sense of space. Natural materials, soft textiles and artworks by academic painter Dragan Momčilović introduce warmth and local character to the polished interiors, while thoughtful in-room amenities support both short city breaks and longer business stays.
The third-floor wellness centre provides a quiet retreat from the energy of the city, with Finnish and infrared saunas, a Turkish bath, salt room, tepidarium, massage treatments and a fitness centre. Guests can also enjoy a restaurant serving Serbian and international cuisine, an elegant lobby bar, a VIP lounge and conference facilities. Together, these features make Ambasador one of the most complete urban hotels in southern Serbia.
