The cooperation of big and small companies is the only formula for boosting the economy, applied by developed countries such as Germany, the United States and many others, Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic said on Friday, noting that Serbia should attract big companies.

The fact that Siemens opens up opportunities for long-term cooperation is significant for small firms to find their way and strengthen business operations, he said.

Siemens is really among the world’s big players, so joining its supply chains opens up tremendous opportunities for Serbian companies, the minister underscored.

In order to attract large companies, the Serbian government formulated ways to support small and medium-sized enterprises and declared 2016 the Year of Entrepreneurship, with clear and concrete programs, the minister said.
