French investments in Serbia have reached EUR 800 million, and there are around 100 companies with French capital operating in Serbia, employing about 10,000 workers, it was said ahead of a working lunch attended by National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic and French Ambassador to Serbia Christine Moro, organized in Belgrade by the Franco-Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
Moro pointed out that trade between Serbia and France had grown by about 20 percent on both sides the year before.
Despite the crisis, our trade exchange has never ceased to develop since 2009, and last year, it reached EUR 750.4 million. As you may guess yourselves, our goal is to reach one billion euros as soon as possible, said Moro.
