Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic and the chairman of the Fujairah Tourism and Antiquities Authority, Ahmad Khalifa Al Shamsi, signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of tourism on Wednesday.

Minister Ljajic said that the aim of signing the document was to improve tourism cooperation between Serbia and Fujairah, one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE.

It is one of the richest emirates, known for their beautiful beaches, and all preconditions have been met for us to start working together at a level much higher than before, Ljajic told reporters.

Ljajic said there were plans to hold a Fujairah Days event in Serbia and a Serbia Days event in Fujairah to present tourist offers of both in the best possible way.
