The Serbian dinar continues growing against the euro, going up 0.1 percent and setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 122.3263 dinars per euro on Monday, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has said in a release.

Month on month, the national currency dropped 0.4 percent against the hard currency, and the exchange rate equals that of February 9 last year.

The indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate is up 0.1 percent to RSD 109.8772 for one dollar.

The Serbian dinar grew against the U.S. dollar 2.0 percent from a month ago, and is weaker by 1.8 percent y-o-y.

The NBS has sold EUR 290 million in the interbank foreign exchange market since the beginning of 2016 to ease the excessive daily volatility of the dinar.

This year, the dinar was lowest against the euro on January 29, at RSD 123.2485, and the strongest on January 4, at RSD 121.5141.
