Establishing the Community of Serb Municipalities will be the most significant topic of the upcoming Belgrade-Pristina dialogue because no progress can be expected in the process until that issue is resolved, Milovan Drecun, who chairs the Serbian parliamentary committee on Kosovo-Metohija, said on Monday.

Pristina must be stopped from sabotaging the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities, Drecun told reporters in parliament.

He added that the conviction of Kosovo Serb leader Oliver Ivanovic – who has been sentenced to nine years in prison on war crimes charges – also puts the issue of rule of law on the agenda.

Ways of achieving the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities and continuing the normalisation process with new topics on the agenda will be the key dilemmas in the upcoming Brussels meeting, he said.
