Opposition parties continued talks on Friday on whether to join forces for general elections, but the meetings were held at three focal points, each of them aspiring to become the hub of election activity.

MPs of nine political parties and organizations, including the New Party, the DS, the DSS, Dveri, Together for Serbia and Movement for Turnabout, called on the government to secure fair and democratic elections.

Meanwhile, representatives of the DS, the LDP and SDS said from their meeting that differences among them were not impossible to bridge.

Leader of the Serbian Left Borislav Stefanovic made a separate appearance and offered other opposition parties which are not right-wing, as well as movements, trade unions and individuals, a document titled “Serbia after Vucic”, which he described as an alternative to the current regime.
