Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Manchang said in Belgrade Monday that relations between Serbia and China were at their best since the two countries had established diplomatic relations and there was room to improve cooperation in various fields.

Speaking at the ‘Serbia on the New Silk Road – How to successfully do business with the People’s Republic of China’ conference, organized by NIN Focus and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, in coperation with Tanjug as the media partner, Li said that the Serbian and Chinese PMs had signed many documents on cooperation at the end of 2015, including memoranda on two key projects – Smederevo steelworks privatization and building industrial parks in Serbia.

Good political relationship has created good environment for cooperation in all areas, including in agriculture, tourism, culture and other areas, said Li.
