Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic and Andrey Arturovich Boytsov, first deputy director of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, signed in Belgrade on Tuesday a protocol on establishing a regional maintenance centre in Serbia for Russian-made helicopters in service in the region and worldwide.
It is the first document that operationalises the work on the project, initiated during last October’s visit by the prime minister and the government of Serbia to the president and the government of the Russian Federation, the Serbian Defence Ministry said in a statement.
