The 48th Niš Film Encounters

The Summer stage in Niš will host this year’s 48th Niš Film Encounters from August 26th till August 31st. Visitors will have the opportunity to see 10 films by local directors during 5 days of the Festival.
This year’s Niš Film Encounters will be dedicated to the anniversary of the Edict of Milan. The accompanying program will include several archaeological films about the Ancient Rome.
Festival started back in 1966 after the initiative of the Organization of film actors of Serbia. Each year the Niš Film Encounters is visited by numerous legendary actors from our country but we can’t fail to mention surely the most famous acting pair Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.
During the following 4 evenings of the Festival films will be screened at 20.30.
