American actor Steven Seagal, who is this year’s laureate of award for benevolence and charity work of “Braca Karic” Foundation, has visited Belgrade Children’s Shelter, as it was announced from City Administration.

As it was said, Seagal was welcomed by the City Secretary for Social Protection Natasa Stanisavljevic who said that the children had the opportunity of meeting with the world famous actor, which would be a great memory for them.

“We are very grateful to Foundation on that, but also to every social responsible people who are spending their time with children and helping them whenever they can”, Stanisavljevic said.699247_sigal-foto-emil-conkic1274_f (1)

City Secretary reminded once again that everyone eagerly wait for the movement of children into the permanent residental space, by which living conditions of the youngest would be improved.

Director of Children’s Shelter Danijela Stojkovic stressed that meetings like these are very important to children and pointed once again that all of the people of a good will are welcome there.

As it was said, fruit, vegetables, clothes and shoes are of the greatest importance for these children during winter days.

Seagal is visiting Belgrade as the ambassador of the Foundation “Art, freedom, strength” which has been helping the facility for years.
