Serbian Labour Minister Aleksandar Vulin wished a happy Christmas to all Orthodox believers, noting that unsolved crimes cast a dark shadow over the holiday joy in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).

Vulin attended a Christmas liturgy at the Pec Patriarchate and called on the international community to ensure conditions for the displaced to return to KiM.

The Serbian minister then travelled to Gorazdevac, the largest Serb village in Metohija, which is home to around 1,000 Serbs, where he handed out Christmas presents to children.

Vulin drew attention to the horrendous crime that happened in this village in 2003, when two Serb children were killed and four wounded on the bank of the Bistrica River.

It is the duty of the international community to finally bring the perpetrators to justice, Vulin stressed.
