Tanjug’s editor of photography Srdjan Ilic has won the 17th Press Photo Serbia (PPS) competition with the photography Rain Men, taken at the Step of the Victor military parade in Belgrade.

Tanjug’s Photo Service won a total of three awards in the same competition, with Ilic also claiming the best photo report award and Jaroslav Pap, the agency’s editor of photography for Vojvodina, winning an award in the photo news category.

The awards were handed out by a jury comprised of Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Edward Keating, professor of photography Branimir Karanovic, professor of the Academy of Fine Arts Aleksandar Kelic, photographer Dalibor Danilovic and Photography Development Centre Director Zvezdan Mancic.

The awarded photographs will be displayed at a Press Photo Serbia exhibition as part of the Vizualizator festival.
