The offers of six companies interested in purchasing 58 percent of shares of the state-owned telecommunications company Telekom have been opened at the Serbian government.

The offers are considered by the privatization consultant French company Lazard, and the government will decide on the best offer not only based on the price, but also the investment plan and social program. If no offer is deemed as satisfactory, the sale of Telekom will be suspended, reports Radio and Television of Serbia.

Lazard is expected to present the analysis of the offers to the government by the end of the week.
