If you want to get to know the mountain of Tara in a completely different way, you must visit “TARA NATURE FEST 2014”.
The journey takes 4 days (from 1st to 4th of May) during which you will have the opportunity to fully experience this queen of mountains.
You will experience: extraordinary nature cruise through the canyon of Drina, Drvengrad, driving “Šarganskom osmicom”, river rafting on Tara, competitions and Games (yarrow games, orienteering), unusual entertainment.

ITINERARY:
Thursday 01.05.2014
Departure from the parking of Sava Centar at 07:30h. The first longer retention will be in Perućac, where we will visit the impressive Vrelo waterfall that plunges into the Drina river, but it comes from a river that has an unusual name: Year (due to its length of 365 m) where we make a break for refreshments and a “glass of homemade” (rakija). We will then climb further towards Mitrovac and accommodate ourselves in the pavilions. In the afternoon, departure to the Drina river boat ride that lasts for 1.5 hour followed by games without borders and preparation for the welcome party in Mitrovac. Overnight.
Friday 02.05.2014.
After breakfast it’s time to explore Tara – visit the Carpet meadows and hike to the Banjske rocks. Afterwards we go on a short trip to Mokra Gora, ride the Šargan Eight and take a tour around Kusturica’s Wooden Town, where every year the Küstendorf movie festival takes place (Nikita Mikhalkov, Johnny Depp, Jim Jarmusch and other famous personalities in the industry already participated in it). In the Wooden Town you’ll also find an unusual “cemetery” for bad movies, where the movie “Die Hard 4” is buried. For the afternoon there are some sports activities planned. Partying in the evening. Overnight.
Saturday 03.05.2014.
Day reserved for the adrenaline shock (RAFTING on the TARA or LIMA rivers). For those who stay in Mitrovac there will be sport activities, orienteering or individual research of Tara. Party in the evening. Overnight.
Sunday 04.05.2014.
The last day on Tara is reserved for the water experience along the Drina canyon. Once out of the accommodation, we’ll go towards the Perućac lake, where a 1,5-hour boat ride along the canyon with impressive cliffs awaits. In the afternoon departure to Belgrade.

3) RAFTING ON THE TARA RIVER 45 e (included rafting with a licensed instructor, equipment [neoprene suit, helmet, life jacket], lunch [beef stew, lamb, salad, bread], transportation)

5) CRUISE ON THE PERUĆAC LAKE 7 e (2 hours)

The deadline for reservations is 5 days before the departure. The package is done with a minimum of 20 travelers. In the case of insufficient number of travelers, the organization may cancel the trip up to 3 days before the departure. In this program, the general traveling conditions from the agency Robinson (license OTP 007/2010) are valid.
