SUMMARY:Joy of Europe 2013
DESCRIPTION:The traditional manifestation of children’s creativity\, “Joy of Europe”\, is being held in Belgrade from 2nd to 5 th October\, for the 44th time. This year’s theme of the event is Rock ‘n’ roll.\nDuring the five days of the largest and the oldest children’s event in the country\, kids from all over Europe will have a chance to meet\, hang out and presents themselves through various forms of artistic expression. \nThe program involves art schools\, cultural centers\, clubs\, associations and groups. Almost all European countries have had their young ones participating in the event. During the festival\, they are staying with the families of the kids of the same age from Belgrade schools. \nOn the first day of the festival\, the program starts at 11:30 AM with the Carnival parade will go from the Republic Square to the Kalemegdan fortress followed by the opening ceremony in BC Partizan stadium and exhibition of children’s art works in the Children’s Cultural Center of Belgrade (DKCB) in the afternoon \nOn the second day of the event\, four concerts will be held in the great hall of the DKCB. \nThe third festival day is of the entertaining and recreational type\, and it starts at 10 AM at Ada Ciganlija. \n“Joy of Europe” finishes at October the 5th\, with a big concert in the Sava Center\, starting at 8 PM. \nFor more information visit the official site of the festival: www.joyofeurope.rs \n

SUMMARY:Ex-YU Photographers Summit 2013
DESCRIPTION:The third summit of the former Yugoslavia photographers will be held from 10th to 13th October in Leskovac. The summit is organized by photo club “Leskovac”. It aims to promote cooperation between the alliance and photo organizations on the former Yugoslavia areas.\nThe young people are inspiration of these year’s summit: work with young people\, improving programs for youth\, improving the prospects of cooperation in these programs. \nThe program is designed so that through workshops\, exhibitions\, presentations of the photo associations and projection images\, provide participants a unique opportunity to obtain all necessary information about the opportunities\, programs\, and resources available archive content of leading photo organization and photo alliances from the former Yugoslavia. \nVisitors will have an opportunity to learn about photographic creativity of authors from the former Yugoslavia\, which contributes to the promotion of photography as art.

SUMMARY:The Oplenac Grape Harvest 2013
DESCRIPTION:In the heart of Šumadija lies Topola at the foothill of Oplenac\, the home of the famous manifestation “The Oplenac Grape Harvest” organized each October in honor of grape\, wine\, vineyards and diligent winemakers\, that this year is being organized for the 50th time from October 10th till October 13th.\nSince 1958 the Oplenac Grape Harvest has been organized traditionally each year in the central streets of Topola\, soon to be accompanied by the manifestation Sabor of Serbian folk art that this year is celebrating the 40th anniversary. \nDuring three days these significant manifestations will occupy the center of Topola\, from the Wine Square\, Wine Street all the way to Karadjordje’s town at Oplenac\, while numerous visitors will enjoy the famous Šumadija hospitality\, savory specialties of traditional cuisine and grape and wine tasting. \nThe Oplenac Grape Harvest is followed by numerous side manifestations such as the competition in wine and rakija tasting\, agricultural\, fruit and vegetable exhibitions\, as well as different cultural and art manifestations aiming to preserve rich cultural tradition and local customs. \nSurely the most significant is Sabor of Serbian folk art that has been organized every year since 1972 at the same time as the Oplenac Harvest. DESCRIPTION:From 20 st till 27 th of October\, the Belgrade Book Fair is being held for the 58th time in the Belgrade Fair. This year’s guest of honor is Poland. Famous Polish writer\, Olga Tokarczuk\, will address in the name of the guest of honor at the Belgrade Book Fair.\nLike previous years\, exhibiting concept includes the contemporary world and domestic publishing production\, presentation of writers\, books promotions and other related programs. About 500 exhibitors\, of which about 60 abroad\, will feature at the Book Fair. More than 30 publishers and cultural institutions from Kosovo and Metohija\, will present their books for the very first time at the Book fair. \nBelgarde Book Fair\nThe publisher of the year\, The publishing venture and for The best children’s book awards will be given this year\, as usual.
