SUMMARY:Days of Drina Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Days of Drina Regatta is a manifestation organized from July 6th to July 13th in Ljubovija. The event will be opened with the “Malinijada” (raspberry Festival) at Lukića brdo (Lukića hill) followed by the rich cultural and entertainment\, while the downhill Drina\, the main event of the event\, will be held on July the 13th.\nThe regatta includes numerous sport events – football and tennis tournaments\, plays for both children and grownups\, as well as numerous exhibitions. \nFamous singer Haris Džinović will perform with orchestra on Friday\, July 12th\, just before the race. There will also be fireworks and the audience will have opportunity to enjoy the Djordje David concert\, also. \nRegatta starts on Sunday\, July the 13th and it will be 40 kilometers long race from Rogačica to Ljubovija. \nThe Drina regatta includes unforgettable fun on the most beautiful part of the Drina River accompanied by brass orchestras that will be entertaining the participants. \nParticipants and visitors will enjoy the concert of very popular band “Crvena jabuka”. The singer Aco Pejović will perform that night (July 14th)\, also. \n

SUMMARY:The Marry Race
DESCRIPTION:The Marry Race – sport\, eco\, tourist and popular manifestation\, will be organized on June 30th on the Ibar River. The Race is organized by the kayak club “Ibar”. \nTraditionally this Race has been organized since 1990 every last week in June\, and the number of participants has been increasing lately reaching the number of 10\,000 local and foreign participants. \nThe gathering of the participants will start several days before the race beneath the medieval city of Maglič\, 25 kilometers from the city of Kraljevo. \nCampers will come from around the country and the region to spend several days surrounded by the beauties of untouched nature. Maglič will play host to numerous parties and Kraljevo will host concerts and different sport and recreational events. \nBut everyone will be waiting for Sunday – the day that will be remembered by every participant in the Marry Race. The trumpet orchestra is also an essential part of the competition \nRafting on the Ibar River from the medieval city of Maglič will be interrupted only for a traditional bean lunch in Mataruška Spa. Many boats and rafts will finish the race here\, only the most persistent ones will continue the race to Kraljevo. \nOn that occasion all kinds of vessels\, mostly rafts made of different materials – plastic bottles\, metal barrels\, styrofoam\, but also the more serious rafts made of wood and metal\, can be seen on the Ibar River.

DESCRIPTION:Belgrade Summer Festival is taking place from June 21st to July 15th under the under the slogan “Breathe! Do not breathe “. This year BELEF will gather together some of the biggest local festivals\, but it will also team up with some new partners. The main festival venue will be located in the courtyard of the Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium\, close to the city centre.\nThe film part of the programme is marked by the first collaboration with one of the longest European film festivals\, Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival\, which turned 60 this year; and the reunion with Magnificent 7\, that will screen films from three world-famous documentary directors- Thomas Riedelsheimer from Germany\, Mika Rokainen from Finland and Mark Isacs from the UK. \nBELEF 2013 marks another successful cooperation with Supernatural festival\, which will hold its programme in the Supernatural Park on Ada Huja; and Baskerfest\, the festival of street performers\, which will open the Belgrade Summer Festival and bring the good atmosphere to the streets of the capital. \nRing Ring and the young music talents of Attic studios will be making sure we have fun with some superb live music this year. SUMMARY:“Whitesnake” concert in Belgrade
DESCRIPTION:Giants of rock music\, the British legend “Whitesnake” will perform within their major world tour “Year of the Snake” on June the 14th at Kalemegdan in Belgrade. \nAs they announced\, on this tour they will perform the greatest hits from their decades-long career\, such as “Is This Love\,” “Here I Go Again”\, “Fool For Your Loving\,” “Still of the Night”… \n  \n  \nTickets for the concert can be purchased from 1990 RSD for the floor\, 2990 RSD Fan Pit and 3500 RSD for VIP stands\, at Eventim points of sale. \n\n  \n“Whitesnake” was founded by David Coverdale in 1978\, after leaving the “Deep Purple”. Of the 11 studio albums\, dozens of concert and compilation releases\, three were published in the last seven years. Serbian fans of “Whitesnake” alredy hed an opportunity to enjoy two concerts of this band in Belgrade. SUMMARY:Guarana Hip Hop Festival "Svi kao jedan (All as One)”
DESCRIPTION:The third Hip Hop Festival ” Svi kao jedan (All as One) ” this year will be held from June 8th till June 24th at several locations in Belgrade (under the general auspices of the energy drink Guarana). \nThe whole concept of the festival\, which brings together all elements of hip hop culture (rap music\, break dance\, street poetry\, graffiti\, as well as extreme sports like skateboarding\, rollerblading and BMX) this year will be divided into several program segments which will to be held during three weekends in June. \nEvery of these program segments will be devoted to the aforementioned elements of hip hop culture. DESCRIPTION:One of the biggest Balkan singer and songwriter of all time\, Djordje Balaševic\, will hold a concert on May 24th at Kalemegdan. DESCRIPTION:The famous Italian tenor will be performing his concert at Belgrade’s Kombank Arena on May the 10th. \nThe Italian tenor\, who began to rise to fame during the nineties\, is returning to Belgrade after many\, hugely successful seasons\, several releases and sold out performances in some of the best known opera houses and larger venues throughout the world. DESCRIPTION:The 41st International Film Festival – FEST is taking place from February 22nd till March 3rd at the Sava Center and other venues under the slogan “Ready\, Set\, FEST”. FEST will be officially opened by American actor Michael Madsen. \nThis year’s FEST will be marked by extremely varied program\, by current films as well as by presence of famous worlds directors and actors. \nIn addition to films that have already win awards last year\, remarkable FEST program includes a few works that are serious contenders in the race for this year’s Oscars. DESCRIPTION:The “St. Petersburg Festival Ballet” performs “The Sleeping Beauty “\, on November the 8th at the theater scene of the KOMBANK Arena in Belgrade. \nThe leading St. Petersburg ballet performers from the best troops perform within the “St. Petersburg Festival Ballet”. Prima ballerinas and ballet dancers of the “Sleeping Beauty”\, Suleyman Guzel\, Arkadas Zinovia\, Gulsin Mav Lukasova\, were awarded for their performances many times. \nThe “Sleeping Beauty” by Tchaikovsky\, is the first classical ballet that had its choreography set by the legendary Marius Petipa. It premiered in London on 1921. Since 1939\, „The Sleeping Beauty” is considered an essential part of the regular repertoire on stages around the world and its leading role is a challenge for all the ballerinas. \nTchaikovsky composed wonderful music for a fairy tale about a princess who was awakened by a prince’s kiss\, and the whole magnificently designed stage will take the audience to a magical land. Tchaikovsky himself said that “it is better to see “The Sleeping Beauty” once than to hear it a hundred times.”
