DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss the spectacular anatomy lesson – the exhibition Bodies Revealed at the Belgrade Fair in the Hall 3\, from October 23rd till March 17th 2013. \nHave you ever wondered how the human body\, more complex than any machine\, more stunning than any computer\, works? Secrets of human body will be revealed to you if you visit the unique exhibition Bodies Revealed that has finally arrived to our city. \nThe exhibition reveals the complex universe of human body to the smallest details\, the way you could never imagine. Through nine different segments the exhibition takes you through human anatomy. \nBodies Revealed features around 200 human bodies as well as dissected organs that were preserved by special technique – polymer preservation\, the process that preserves human tissue using liquid silicone rubber making specimens available for study for an indefinite time period. \nOn this unique occasion we can take a closer look at the skeletal\, muscular\, nervous\, digestive\, respiratory\, circulatory\, reproductive\, urinary and integumentary (skin\, sweat glands\, hair and nails) systems. \nSo definitely this is not an exhibition to be missed. Tickets for the Bodies Revealed exhibition can be purchased at the price of 950 RSD for adults\, 750 RSD for students and 450 RSD for children. There is also a family package at the price of 2\,350 RSD that includes two tickets for adults and two tickets for children. Cameras are not allowed.

DESCRIPTION:The 41st International Film Festival – FEST is taking place from February 22nd till March 3rd at the Sava Center and other venues under the slogan “Ready\, Set\, FEST”. FEST will be officially opened by American actor Michael Madsen. \nThis year’s FEST will be marked by extremely varied program\, by current films as well as by presence of famous worlds directors and actors. \nIn addition to films that have already win awards last year\, remarkable FEST program includes a few works that are serious contenders in the race for this year’s Oscars. As it is already a tradition\, the festival will\, be opened by the film that won the Golden Palm – “Love” by Michael Haneke. That film is also a candidate for the Oscar in several categories (for the best picture and best director). Goran Markovic’s new movie “Forger” closes 41st FEST\, and that will be the world premiere of this film\, also. \nThe well known FEST programs (“The Program”\, “Europe out of Europe”\, “Hollywood”\, “Europe in Europe”\, “World Film Panorama”\, “Selected documentaries”\, “In Focus: South America”\, “FEST presents: The new Serbian Film”) will include 75 films premieres. \nFEST program can be found at: \nhttp://www.fest.rs/program.php \n  \nThe “Round table” discussion about the future of film and digital revolution in the seventh art will be held as a an accompanying program of FEST. The “Round table” participants are protagonists of the film “Albert’s time\,” Albert Meyer “Panavision camera” creator\, Nikša Sviličić – director from Croatia\, Predrag Bambić as a moderator as well as a local film experts. \nAs in previous years\, the Festival will be held at the Sava Center\, Belgrade Youth Centre\, Hall of The Cultural Centre of Belgrade\, in the Cinematheque\, and the novelty is that films will be shown in “Fontana” cinema in New Belgrade. \nTickets will be priced at 150 to 350 RSD and they will be on sale from February 1st at the box office of these halls. Ticket price for the grand opening is 500 RSD. The discount of 10% on a set of cards is valid from February 1st till February 7th. \n

SUMMARY:Bacon Festival in Kačarevo
DESCRIPTION:This year’s 26th “Bacon Festival” will be held from February 28th till March 3th at Kačarevo village in the Banat\, near Pančevo. \nLike every year\, hundreds of tons of bacon awaits those who love it\, at the largest fair of bacon in the world (situated in over 3000 m / 2 closed and open space). \nBefore the opening ceremony (February 28th at noon) the “Golden Pot” and “Golden greaves” competitions will be held\, followed by a tasting of old forgotten dishes\, meat and meat products\, and an exhibition of cartoons called “Bacon have a soul\, also”. \nEvent includes the butchers skills presentation\, as well as a Festival of creativity of ethnic minorities in Vojvodina\, and choice of most powerful visitor. The Miss of “Becon Festival” will be chosen on Saturday\, March 2nd. \nThe event is unique in its content\, has been held since 1988. year and it is based on respect\, nurturing and preserving tradition. \n
